Plants, Rocks and Shells!

2nd grade is exploring different ways to observe and record information.  They have been traveling to the fictional island of Gouli Gouli and discovering plants, rocks and shells that no one has ever seen before!  Like Charles Darwin during his 5 year voyage on the HMS Beagle, they need to make detailed observations so they can recall what the newly discovered objects look like when they return home!

We used our sense of smell to help describe the plants.  Some of us like the smell, others didn't!
